A research database, with a built-in AI analyst.

DxChat is the natural-language layer on top of DxDatabase — every chat answer is grounded in the same source tables you can browse and export yourself.

DxDatabase

  • Vector + keyword hybrid search across every table title and column
  • State, district, urban/rural and sub-group breakdowns wherever the source provides them

DxChat

Ask in plain English (or Hindi). Get a briefing-note-style answer with citations back to the exact tables in DxDatabase.

  • Every claim cites a numbered source table you can open and verify
  • Optional web-search step for context the survey doesn't cover
  • Hindi-language queries and answers supported end-to-end

How they fit together: DxChat runs every question through DxDatabase first, pulls the most relevant tables, and writes an answer over them. You can always click through to the raw table.

How it works

From a vague question to a sourced answer in three steps.

1

Search

Type a topic, sub-group or state. Hybrid vector + keyword search ranks every relevant table from across published sources.

2

Inspect with sources

Open the table, see the original source, year and footnotes. Export to Excel when you need to keep working offline.

3

Ask in plain English

Or skip the search and just ask DxChat. You get a written summary with numbered citations back to the underlying tables.

What you actually get

Sample outputs from an illustrative workflow.

Below: searching DxDatabase for women's literacy returns ranked tables; asking DxChat the same question returns a written synthesis with citations to those tables. These cards are examples, not the live catalog.

FAQ

Common questions.

Where does the data come from?

From publicly released surveys and published statistical releases. Every table carries the source name, the reference year and a link back to the source notes. We do not synthesize, model or impute numbers.

How current is the data?

As current as the source agency makes it. New rounds and releases are added after public issue; Coverage today lists the families currently in the library.

Can I export search results?

Yes — every table view has a one-click Excel export. Bundle plans add unlimited exports and the ability to save sets of tables to a project.

Is my query data private?

Yes. Your searches and DxChat conversations are private to your account, not used to train external models, and visible to you alone in your history. You can delete any history item or the entire account from your dashboard.

Do you support Hindi?

Yes. DxChat accepts queries in Hindi (Devanagari) and English, and answers in the language you asked in. Source citations remain in the original survey's language. More Indian languages are on the roadmap.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — cancel from your dashboard in a click. You keep access until the end of your current billing period; you won't be charged again.
